Holy Spirit, Produce Your Fruit In Me
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. - Galations 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Every person on the planet carries a common moral code written by God on the heart- a sense of right and wrong, regardless if a Christ-follower or one who has never heard the name of Jesus (Romans 2:14-15).
Though this moral code is embraced and accepted, it remains to be a mere collection of good and admirable human qualities. Many believe this is all they need in life- to be basically good and do good deeds- perhaps trying to prove how altruistic they are through humanitarian efforts. Many believe themselves to be a good person compared to a thief or murderer, not needing a “dominating and restrictive” savior, and as a result reject following Jesus. Mankind needed more than a moral code, for no one is good nor can save themselves from eternal death.
Searching For Faux Fruit in Sin
No one will openly say they want hatred, impatience, and an uncontrolled warring spirit. Most agree that kindness, goodness, and peace are beneficial for individuals, families, communities, and nations. However, some may still act with the demonic weapons of hatred, impurity, and selfish ambition to grab at a twisted interpretation they call love, joy, and peace. They deceive themselves in hoping to find these “rewards” nestled in their sinful lifestyle choices- a confederate that the enemy parades in front of their bad eyes (Matthew 6:23). Unfortunately, they won’t give up the taste of sin to find true Godly love, peace, joy, and self-control.
Oh, but the gift that God has for us!- the glorious fruit that the Holy Spirit gifts to believers. It’s an abundance that replenishes and refreshes. We all hope to reach our full potential in life, but only the believer will live more fully as God intended and purposed him to be, for the believer’s true identity is identified with Christ Jesus, as evidenced by the fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Why should we seek the fruit of the Holy Spirit? The fruit produced in us by the Holy Spirit is meant to feed others spiritually, for Jesus said if you love Him, “Feed my sheep” (John 21:16-17). Your undying love, surrender, and obedience to Jesus Christ will produce spiritual fruit. Use that fruit to help feed others, and humbly give all glory to Him (Matthew 25:35-40).
It’s not what you do, but who you surrender to.
And if this has resonated in your heart today, you can pray right now:
Lord Jesus, I come to you in a posture of humbleness and absolute surrender to you. I repent and ask for Your forgiveness for my sinful disobedience. I don’t know if I have the fruit of the Spirit. But I want this fruit produced in me, not for my benefit, but to bring all glory to you. Show me what I need to do. Produce an abundance in me. Use the fruit that you produce in me to help feed the spirit of others and expand Your kingdom, as you will. I pray all of these things in your powerful and almighty name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

Digestive Enzymes for Health: What You Need to Know

Are you familiar with digestive enzymes? Digestive enzyme supplements are used to help break down food into smaller, absorbable nutrients, leading to improved digestion, in addition to other benefits.
Naturally, the stomach, small intestine and pancreas all make digestive enzymes. The pancreas is the enzyme “powerhouse” of digestion. It produces the most important digestive enzymes, which are those that break down carbohydrates, proteins and fats. However, sometimes, one may need a digestive enzyme supplement.
Here's a more detailed look at the benefits:
Improved Digestion and Nutrient Absorption:
Efficient Breakdown of Food:
Digestive enzymes, like amylase, protease, and lipase, break down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, respectively, into smaller molecules that the body can easily absorb. Proteases help digest the proteins found in meats, poultry, fish, nuts, eggs and cheese. Since proteases make protein increasingly bioavailable, they are connected to various protein interactions, for example, inflammatory response, immune function and circulation.
Reduced Digestive Discomfort:
By improving the efficiency of digestion, enzymes can help reduce symptoms like bloating, gas, and indigestion, which can result from undigested food particles. Digestive enzymes can also help with leaky gut, to help with digesting your food properly so that your immune system is not triggered due to the trespassing of larger food molecules.
Enhanced Nutrient Absorption:
When food is broken down properly, the body can better absorb essential vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, promoting overall health.
Potential Benefits for Specific Conditions:
Age-Related Decline:
As we age, our natural enzyme production may decrease, leading to digestive issues. Enzyme supplementation can help compensate for this decline.
Digestive Disorders:
Conditions like lactose intolerance or pancreatic insufficiency can impair enzyme production. Enzyme supplements can be beneficial for individuals with these conditions. Enzymes can assist in building up hydrochloric acid, or stomach acid, if you have a deficiency of it.
Skin Health:
Improved nutrient absorption, particularly of vitamins A, C, and E, can contribute to healthier skin and potentially reduce skin issues.
Other Potential Benefits:
Weight Management:
By improving nutrient absorption and promoting a healthy gut, digestive enzymes may indirectly support weight loss efforts.
Increased Energy Levels:
Better nutrient absorption can lead to increased energy levels as the body efficiently utilizes the food it consumes. These digestive enzymes can help convert carbohydrates into glucose–the essential sugar particle that the body utilizes for energy.
Support for Healthy Eating Habits:
Enzyme supplements can be helpful when transitioning to new diets or dealing with challenges related to specific food groups.
Did You Know?
Digestive enzyme help to digest food properly which will lead to the reduction of inflammation in your gut and in turn decrease pain and fatigue.
Though generally safe, consult with your licensed nutritionist, holistic/integrated practitioner, or medical doctor before consuming digestive enzymes for medicinal purposes.†*
